Firstly you find plenty of discussion about Christianity. There will be two categories, a general one and one focusing specifically on women’s issues.

This is the book I’m reading a present. I’ll let you know what I think when I’ve finished it.

Family issues, particularly parenting girls, are hot topics at Homely Wife. We have two girls:

This is G1, age 8, with her pet lamb who was champion lamb at our local pet day.

And G2, age 6, who won champion pet with our cat.

The Hubster is a physics PhD student, you can image that the conversation in our house is light and entertaining. On the down side we have little money so are very careful with what we have. I expect my money saving efforts will pop up here from time to time.

You might guess that because we have pet lambs we don’t live in a city, and you’d be right! We live on a small block just outside a medium sized city. We have a large garden, including a vege garden the size of some city back yards.

But wait there’s more!

I also knit and sew.

At present I’m knitting a child’s version of A Cardigan For Arwen.

This is the left front. I’ll blog about the changes I made another day.

There is no sewing to report at all. This is due to the present state of my sewing machine.

This is part of my beloved Berina Activa 145. The stitch length stop working while I was in the middle of sewing Christmas presents. Luckily I also have a Berina 831, old but reliable.

The Hubster took the machine apart and found the fault. We are just waiting for the new part to arrive.

I also spin but have a terrible confession. I have not spun anything since July.

Lastly I’m a student. I have 4 papers to go to complete my BA, majoring in History and Education. I plan to finish all 4 by distance learning next year.

Who knew I did so much? Plenty of potential for adventure!
