Mind you, in NZ we have such a different culture, we don’t really “date” the way Americans do I gather the English tend to get into relationships young, as well. I have kids, 15-21, boys and girl, and they, and their friends, don’t seem to be all that into “going out” with the opposite sex at all. I think they are just engrossed in their own interests. But if they met someone they were attracted to, then it would be all on. I’ll take a look at your blog, Steve. The subject totally fascinates me.

Let me know when you blog and I will take a look at them. Unfortunately, very few if any that promote “kissing dating goodbye” share the defects of this approach or the problems that it has caused over the years. It is too bad they don’t. If they did, people might be more aware of the landmines with this approach.

If you haven’t seen it already, you might want to take a look at my blog where I critique Harris’s book. One of my biggest concerns with the book is that he gives a one sided view on his philosophy almost like a salesman selling a product. He “forgets” to mention the defects of his approach and the problems it has caused over the years.
